The Cinnamon Tingle jars arrived today! so everyone who's waiting on their order still, PM me with your shipping address and make payment if you didn't already.
Essentially, I can easily fit up to 4 jars in a $9.90 satchel to anywhere in Australia - I might be able to get 5 jars in one, but I'm not sure (haven't tried it yet), let me know if you want to combine shipping with anyone. :) (or if you want to just come by for a visit and pick up directly)

great!! thanks MF - I'll transfer money now, plus postage. I wanted to visit, and I hope that can still happen, but things are a bit up in the air, especially with the weather. (we've been flooded in a few days this week, and more rain coming)

My order arrived today :joystars thank you so much MF for organising it all and posting our order to us.

The taste is bearable, i can easily eat it straight off the spoon. Dd1 refuses to eat it and i tried putting a smear on some toast (clo/butter oil cinnamon tingle gel) with organic butter over the top and she still tasted it. So i don't know what else i can try to hide it in that she will eat. Dd2 on the other hand LOVES it and i spent all day putting little bits on a spoon for her and trying to get her to understand that we need to make it last. Obviously her body is needing it so very much, will be interesting to see if this helps to clear the last of her excema.

ooh, i'm glad to hear back from someone how the cinnamon one tastes - I've not tried it.
I'm not sure you can ever fully mask the taste of the CLO. I put it in warm cocoa for dd and she would tolerate it, but now I put it into empty capsules and she swallows them, no problem (though I know most little kids don't swallow tablets/ capsules, it's absolutely a mental block, and not a physical thing in most cases - we swallow bigger mouthfuls than that when we eat).
anyway, i'd keep trying different things and see how the taste goes. she might just get used to it.
I found when I first started taking the CLO, even though I hated the taste, I was CRAVING for more of it and watching the clock till when I could take my next dose.

Hey I just wanted to say THANKS HEAPS for getting this, MF. I just got mine yesterday and dh has started taking it.

How strange, though, that it doesn't have a tamper-free lid on it! That sort of thing freaks me out.

Also, how much should dh take every day? A teaspoonful? Is that enough or less?

Thanks again, he says it doesn't taste too bad, either.

they say the dose is 1/2 teaspoon. we try to get that in twice a day. (but it doesn't always happen)

CW, my bottle had the dosage on the label :uhh
I tasted ours today & didn't give DD any. She normally needs to be talked out of asking for extra doses of any "medicine" we have around, she loves the novelty of it but I wanted to make sure that her first taste didn't leave her determined not to have a second. Hmmm, I might have to invest in some capsules. She's not going to be asking for more of this...

i'd say they don't have tamper proof lids coz it tastes so bad kids wouldn't want to open it anyway :giggle

well, it's not sooo bad - i got the cinnamon too and i can take it on a teaspoon (altho i get fish tasting burps - ergh) but the kids hate it. i tried to put it in hot chocolate, but it didn't dissolve and they could still taste it in the milk. i wish i'd got the capsules now.....i guess i'll have to fill my own like you MF. sounds messy.

i started filling the capsules with a teaspoon - just pour it in. it wasn't really messy, but tedious. now i had the idea to get a syringe from the pharmacy. easy peasy - suck suck up a syringe-full of oil, gently squirt into the capsule, pop the cap on.

I'm not too worried about the kids, just that most stuff nowadays you can tell you're the first one to open it. Maybe they don't have those laws in the US. ??

Haven't been here for a while but here is what it was like with us and the order
I ordered the no flavour butter oil/ clo combo here for me and the capsules here for the kids.
I take the gel..uggg....with a swig of water/milk/juice/tea..like a capsule no worries and the kids take the capsules no worries daily (well the 9yr old and the 6yr old) who see it as a challenge on who can swallow this thing in one gulp! Haven't had much luck with the newly 3yr old on any but she loves eating the butter I make from raw jersey milk so hope she is doing ok in her own way! She eats loads of my butter as she and I make it and generally downs most of the buttermilk even at the promise of pancakes...
mmmm
I tasted the cinnamon gel and thought it was fine (ordered it for a friend)....try mixing it with yoghurt and grated apple for little ones. I'd eat it and so would my little ones....I think
